Being Social Doesn't Have to Be Scary and Intimidating

No stupid tricks, just a proven way to improve your social skills

Can you imagine talking to people without feeling anxious and overwhelmed?

I couldn’t. There was nothing I wanted more than to have better friends, go on dates, and be relaxed in social situations.

Instead, I would “freeze” around people. I was clueless about social rules and often misunderstood. People betrayed my trust, disrespected me, and treated me like a doormat.

The Social Gladiator helps you overcome these same issues.

"WTF is wrong with me?!"

A lot of people don't know what you're going through. I do.

See this guy? This was me in high school.

I was obsessed with becoming liked, respected, and accepted by people around me.

Instead, I was that weird guy who would draw cartoons in the back of the class, talk about things nobody cared about, and look creepy in social gatherings.

As you can expect, this made me feel pretty miserable.

Here I was, just as “normal” as everybody else, yet I had so much trouble talking to people without feeling like I’m diffusing a bomb.

I had no self-esteem, no confidence, and no idea how to improve myself. I’m guessing you can relate to this feeling.

But that was just the beginning of my problems...

I would look around and see my peers talking, mingling, dating without a problem. I would get depressed and think to myself: “They make it seem so easy? Why can’t I be the same?” Instead, I was struggling with a lot of different issues.

  • Talking to people is terrifying
  • Worry too much what people think of me
  • Friends don't support my dreams
  • Feeling abused by those closest to me
  • Being "too nice" so people use me
  • Not being shown respect or kindness
  • Being clueless about "social rules"
  • No idea how to meet new people

So I did the same thing as you — googled stuff.

This led me to a lot of bad advice.

Down the rabbit hole of self-help gurus, pickup artists, and clueless bloggers, everybody claims to have “the magic formula” or “the golden technique”.

I tried it all. Some things worked, most didn’t. After almost two years of constant effort, I was pretty much the same person. Insecure. Unsocial. Unhappy.

"Wow, being social is actually fun!"

These days, I can't imagine socializing being a source of stress for me.

My name is Phil Janecic. I am a writer, blogger, and author. But to tell you the truth, I hate calling myself these things. They make me sound more important than I actually am. Instead, think of me as someone who understands your pain and wants to help you solve it.

It’s nice to have someone that actually understands where I’m coming from. This was truly badass advice.

Phil is all about the “let’s get real” approach. His methods force you to stop making excuses and take responsibility for your own life.

Your writing is fantastic! I love your way of getting your points across in such a readable, natural and often humorous way.

Imagine if you could...

  • Approach strangers without fear
  • Have confidence in yourself
  • Avoid trusting the wrong people
  • Never feel abused or disrespected
  • Be assertive (without being an asshole)
  • Have high self-esteem
  • Meet new people anywhere you go
  • Finally be happy and relaxed in groups

If you told me that one day I could be someone who is not only comfortable in social situations, but actually enjoys being around people, I would think you’re crazy. But here I am. And I want to show you how to achieve the same.

Best of all? You don't have to pretend to be someone else.

You might want to know...

What makes this book different?

Unlike other books that focus on superficial tactics (say this, do this, go there), The Social Gladiator focuses on understanding why socializing is hard for you in the first place. Then teaching you how to overcome this fear.

Is this a physical book?

No, this book is digital only. But you can view it on almost any device (computer, phone, tablet, Kindle, e-reader). You even get a PDF you can print out.

What if it turns out I don't like the book?

No problem! I'm sure you will find it extremely useful. But if you don't feel it helps you, email me within 30 days of your purchase and I will give you a 100% refund.

Do you really know what I'm going through?

In my teens and early 20s, I was extremely shy and awkward around people. I'd go out every week with the sole intention of talking to one new person — then fail every single time. This book is all of the advice I needed at the time, but couldn't get.

Is this just describing your personal experience?

No, the book puts a high emphasis on research and understanding the psychology of every issue covered.

What makes you qualified to write about this topic?

I have personally dealt with all of the issues the book covers. I have also spent years researching psychology and understanding this topic, as well as coaching other people in becoming social.
