Become the Strongest Version of Yourself

You know how it feels. You can’t control your thoughts, actions, or emotions. You’re a slave to them. There’s no self-discipline or control.

Why? Because you’re not following the rules of mental strength.

Want to change, but you're not sure how?

Stop me if this sounds familiar…

You feel like you don’t have control over your thoughts. They just happen and you can’t stop them or redirect them. You desperately want to feel in control of your life instead of it controlling you.

You want to be a superhero: yes, you will deal with tragedy and hardships, betrayal and jealousy, but in the end, you will become a better person because of it.

Your past will NOT break you. Instead, it will make you stronger.

In other words, you want to have a MIND OF STEEL.

The art of mental strength

Have you ever felt insecure? Or struggled with anxiety? Or felt so stressed by what’s going on in your life that your mind was ready to give up?

Well, duh. Of course you did. You’re human.

Everybody wants to have a strong mindset and be ready for anything life throws at you. But what does that actually mean? How can you track whether your mindset is weak or strong?

On the surface, it seems pretty easy.

You don’t need research to tell you that if you hit the gym instead of watching TV and eating McDonald’s, you’d feel better. You don’t need scientific data to tell you that being bullied makes you feel weak and angry with the world.

But at the end of the day, you still don’t know how to change this.

A lot of advice boils down to “just do it” or “simply start”. Both of these approaches are unhelpful. They don’t focus on the core issues which are making it so hard to get started in the first place.

Mental strength is like physical strength. Anybody can build it, but you need to put in the work and focus on the right exercises.

These rules run your life

(even if you don't know it)

In 2018, I was in a pretty bad place. Broken relationship, out of shape, lost discipline, and damaged sense of self-worth.

How the hell did I get here? After all, I’m running a website teaching people how to build mental strength.

But like you, I am human. And no matter how strong you feel at a certain point, if you don’t take care of your mind, just like your body, it’s going to get weak.

So I had an idea…

Tell me, do you know much about physics?  Or chemistry? Or biology?

Probably not. But you understand enough to have a basic grasp of how the world around you works. Like that you shouldn’t jump from the 10th floor or how you breathe air even though you can’t see it.

You know what to do and, more importantly, what to avoid doing.

But when it comes to mental strength, you don’t really know anything. What makes a strong mindset? How do you build it? How to make sure it doesn’t break?

Most importantly: How can you change something if you don’t even know how it works?

Well, guess what?

That is exactly the reason I wrote the Mind of Steel Handbook. It’s a rulebook that teaches you 12 universal rules of mental strength and how to implement them into your life with specific exercises and examples.

There are 12 chapters, one for each rule. Each rule describes:

  • How it helps you build mental strength
  • Problems that happen if you break it
  • Simple, actionable methods to implement it in your life
  • Real-life examples

These rules are based on various philosophies (like stoicism and rationalism), scientific research into the human mind, and real-life examples and situations.

In others words: Backed by science, tested in the real world, and explained in terms you will understand.

A little about me

Hi, I'm Phil Janecic

I founded Mind of Steel in 2014 to help people become the strongest version of themselves. My work has reached hundreds of thousands people since.

My approach is direct and sometimes harsh, because I value honesty above everything else. Sometimes, you need to let go of old ideas to make ways for new ones.

What others say

Mind of Steel helped me became tougher while staying a good person. I’m naturally a “nice guy” and never asserted myself, so people often took advantage of me. Now, I am still a nice guy, but stand up for myself, enforce my boundaries, and I am not afraid to speak up.

Phil is all about the "let’s get real" approach. His methods force you to stop making excuses and take responsibility for your own life, no matter how painful or embarrassing that may be. I had no idea I would get tips and methods I would keep coming back to.

Phil's approach can help you conquer anything. No BS, no dancing around the point, just honest and direct advice that really works. Most importantly, Phil is always available when you need help, you can see the guy genuinely cares a lot.
